Working alongside Local Authorities
Referrals
Inicio works alongside Local Authorities in assessing the needs of individuals requiring our services and securing the funding for an appropriate and proportionate package of support, for this reason we are only able to accept referrals and requests for information directly from Local Authorities. Unfortunately, our services are not available for individuals wishing to commission a support package privately.
Our referral process is designed to ensure the needs of the individual can be met within the parameters of the package being commissioned by Inicio, and as such it is essential that the full chronology of risk is shared with us at the initial point of contact.
Referral forms can be requested via email from placements@inicio-group.co.uk or by calling 0161 418 4180 – we are unable to send referral forms to anyone whom does not have a ‘.gov.uk’ email account and in line with our GDPR responsibilities we are unable to share confidential information over the telephone without firstly assessing the relevant permissions.
CORE Values . . .
Uphold Integrity
We are guided by our moral compasses, which innately know the difference between right and wrong. We never compromise our integrity. We stand for what is just and right and hold ourselves, and each other, to a high level of ethical standards.
In Diversity there is Strength
We believe that a diverse workforce offers a richer, more meaningful experience for the children, young people, and families we support. We encourage and embrace the unique differences throughout the organisation and meet together with a shared purpose. Equality and inclusion is built into every aspect of the organisation, offering each individual the opportunity to work in an atmosphere of respect, dignity and acceptance.
Embrace Self-Improvement
Lasting success and happiness is achieved through continuous growth and self-improvement. We are committed to continuous investment in the growth of our team members while, at the same time, require each individual to actively take responsibility for their own self-development and well-being.
Work Ethic Wins
We always seek to recruit the best in the industry. But we also know that intelligence and experience mean nothing unless its paired with incredible effort and strong work ethics. The individuals, and teams willing to put in the extra effort, go the extra mile and be held accountable will be the ones who see their visions and dreams realised. Not only for themselves, but for the children, young people, and families they support.
Be The Change
Change is the only constant. In a fast-moving world and a fluid industry such as social care, we must always seek to avoid being comfortable. By continuously improving, we embrace the ethos that it is far more rewarding to be the change we wish to see.
Communicate Effectively
We believe that open and honest communication builds trust, which is the foundation of any relationship – whether its with each other, our partners, or the children, young people, and families we work with.
Believe Impact is Possible
We have the opportunity to create a lasting and positive impact on the children, young people, and families accessing our services, as well as the communities we are based within, and the Local Authority and other partners we work alongside. When we remain focussed and consistent, act in the best interests of the service user, persist, and uphold the ethos of the organisation, we believe anything is possible.
Maintain Humility
We recognise that there is no such thing as ‘Individual Success’. We are magnanimous in victory and acknowledge those that have helped to achieve the outcomes we reach. Healthy team chemistry, creativity and collaboration is critical in achieving our goals. We leave our egos at the door.
