My Pathway; Journey to Independence
Our in-house life skills programme, My Pathway: Journey to Independence, was co-produced with children and is externally accredited. It offers a structured, interactive roadmap to help children build self-awareness, practical skills, and confidence as they prepare for life beyond care. The programme features 15 core modules covering personal development, independence, and adult preparation.
Our sessions can be delivered in a multitude of ways to suit individual needs and evidence of progress can be submitted through written form, videos, photographs, and other practical ways.
Our life skills programme is ever evolving, and whilst it provides a robust approach to life skills, it is supported by our capacity to tailor sessions to each individual young person through targeted support.
All our life skills sessions are accredited, and young people can build a portfolio of certificates that can be used to secure a tenancy, employment, and build self-worth.
We are committed to reducing the number of children and young people who are Not in Education, Employment or Training (NEET). Our education and participation team work directly with each young person and their keyworker to identify their interests, build confidence, and develop a plan that reintroduces them to mainstream learning or employment pathways.
