People & Culture Advisor
Job Role:

As a People and Culture Advisor, you are pivotal in ensuring the effective function of our workforce by providing expert advice and support across various employee relation functions. Reporting directly to the People and Culture Manager, you will contribute to the development and adherence of HR policies and procedures, fostering a positive environment and supporting the diverse needs of our employees throughout the employee lifecycle.

Responsibilities:
  • Address and resolve employee relation issues including conflicts, grievances, and disciplinary matters.
  • Guide and coach managers in people and performance management processes.
  • Collaborate with the People and Culture Manager to develop, update, and ensure compliance of HR policies.
  • Build and maintain relationships with external partners for effective collaboration.
  • Provide expert advice on reward strategies and employee benefits.
  • Oversee the HR platform, manage the HR inbox, and conduct exit interviews.
  • Develop initiatives to boost employee retention, engagement, and morale.
  • Create essential employment documents and stay updated on relevant legislation.
  • Offer guidance and support in managing employee well-being and mental health.
  • Generate and analyze HR metrics and reports for strategic decision-making.
Requirements:
  • Strong understanding of employment law and HR best practices.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information.
  • Proven experience in employee relations and HR management.
  • Commitment to diversity, equality, and inclusion.
  • Proficiency in HR software and Microsoft Office suite
  • CIPD Level 5 or willingness to work towards
