Support Worker (Supported Accommodation) inc Sleeps
Job Role:

As a Support Worker your role will be to work alongside young people, actively promoting independence and preparing them to transition into adulthood. Working on a multiagency basis and in partnership with internal and external professionals to ensure young people are given the correct wrap around support and are treated equally, as individuals, and without discrimination. If you have excellent written and verbal communication skills, are resilient and committed to the support worker role and most importantly you will conduct yourself as a positive role model for young people and colleagues we want to hear from you.

  • Full-Time 34 hours with sleeps (Av 10 sleeps per month)
  • £31,984 – £32,868 per annum (based on £13.00 – £13.50 per hour, dependent on qualifications)
  • Sleep in allowance £75 per sleep
  • 3 Week rolling rota including weekends and evenings across a 7 day period
Responsibilities:
  • Work alongside young people to promote independence, life skills, and positive decision‑making, supporting their transition into adulthood.
  • Build trusting, supportive relationships and act as a positive role model for young people and colleagues.
  • Deliver person‑centred support that recognises each young person as an individual and promotes equality and non‑discrimination.
  • Work collaboratively within a multi‑agency framework, liaising effectively with internal teams and external professionals.
  • Contribute to and support wrap‑around care plans to ensure young people receive appropriate, joined‑up support.
  • Communicate effectively through accurate written records and confident verbal communication.
  • Demonstrate resilience, professionalism, and commitment when working with young people who may present challenging behaviours.
  • Uphold organisational values, safeguarding principles, and best practice at all times.
Requirements:
  • Level 3/4 in Health & Social Care or something similar (Desired)
  • Minimum of 1 years’ relevant experience (Desired)
  • Hold a valid Driving licence and access to own vehicle (Desired)
  • Minimum age requirement of 19 years of age (Required)
  • Fully enhanced Child and Adult DBS on update system or willing to obtain one (Required)
  • Willing & able to do Sleep In shifts (Required)

Welcome bonus T&C’s: Inicio Group reserves the right to reclaim the welcome bonus if the employee voluntarily leaves or is dismissed for misconduct within 12 months of their start date. Any reclaim will be calculated on a pro-rata basis at 1/12th of the total bonus for each full month not completed.
